Standard equipment

Lifting screen for Formica trailer

Two-part safety screen

The lifting screen (+ 50 cm travel) keeps logs in place during transport and protects the operator.

Movable bogie CEMEH forestry trailer

Adjustable bogie (80 cm)

Optimal centre of gravity for different load lengths; it regulates pressure on the tractor and thereby improves driving characteristics.

modular upgrades (custom configuration)

Gear drive Formica CEMEH forestry trailer

Drive solutions

• without drive (lowest weight)
• Black Bruin in-wheel drive (up to 70 kW/wheel)
• externally mounted gear drive (up to 170 kW/wheel) – the trailer’s own drive relieves the tractor, so even a less powerful machine is sufficient on slopes; in addition, the gear drive is cost-effective to maintain because
each component is replaced separately, parts are available immediately, and replacement is completely simple.

Rear anchor blade Formica - optional equipment

Rear anchor blade

Stabilisation during winching and path clearing.

Trailer extension CEMEH Formica forestry trailer

Extension + 1.2 m

Safe transport of extra-long logs.

Crane tilt - CEMEH forestry trailer

Crane tilt

Crane tilt for balancing the crane’s centre of gravity on uneven terrain.

Hydraulically sprung drawbar - CEMEH Formica optional equipment

Hydraulically sprung drawbar

Absorbs shocks, levels the trailer and functions as a tilt mechanism.

CEMEH Formica forestry trailers - bogie lift

Forwarder stakes

Fixed, mechanically or hydraulically extendable.

CEMEH Formica forestry trailers - bogie lift

Bogie Lift

Axle lift for slopes, mud or asphalt without removing chains.

Bio-Box

Roll-off type container that is loaded onto the chassis with the forestry crane on the trailer; ideal for branches, treetops and other partly loose or bulky waste – no spillage on the road.

1.5 t or 6.5 t winch

Reliable extraction of trunks and easy self-loading.

Platform

Quick conversion for pallets, firewood or tools.

Formica forestry trailers: a reliable partner in timber extraction

A forestry trailer is one of the key investments for anyone involved in timber extraction – whether on a smaller property or in professional use. Conditions in the forest are often unpredictable: soft ground, steep terrain, narrow forest tracks and different timber lengths. That is why the trailer must be designed to be robust, stable and practical, enabling safe and efficient work. The quality of the chassis, load-bearing structure and load-securing elements affects how reliably you transport timber, how much time you save and how safe the work is for the operator.

Formica forestry trailers and choosing the right size

When choosing a forestry trailer, it is important to adapt it to your needs: the quantity of timber, the average log length and the capacity of the tractor. A trailer that is too large for an underpowered tractor means poorer handling, greater wear and higher risk in the field. A trailer that is too small extends the work because it requires more trips. A good approach is to choose a forestry trailer that offers the optimal compromise between load capacity, stability and manoeuvrability.

Formica forestry trailers: functions that save time

A modern forestry trailer is no longer just a “timber trailer”, but a working system that can be upgraded according to the way you work. Various solutions for extending the load bed, adjustable supports, and the carefully planned arrangement of stakes and fastening points enable better use of space and faster loading.

Formica forestry trailers and transport safety

Safety is essential when transporting timber. The trailer must have stable geometry, high-quality components and the ability to secure the load reliably. Details such as guards, clearly visible reflective markings and well-routed lines are also important, as they reduce the possibility of damage and faults during work.

Formica forestry trailers with custom accessories

A major advantage is the option of additional equipment. A forestry trailer can be equipped with various accessories that improve efficiency: additional stakes, extensions, brackets, guards and adaptations for specific assortments or extraction methods. This optimises the trailer for your work and reduces time losses during every loading operation.
